  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Comply with work health and safety (WHS) requirements at all times
  • Identify the categories of reference standards that the organisation is authorised to verify
  • Identify the classes of reference standards required to verify a range of standards
  • Identify tolerances for reference standards within organisation’s scope
       
Element: Maintain suitable environmental conditions to facilitate verification of reference standards
  • Record reference standard details in accordance with organisational guidelines
  • Identify sources of possible operational procedures errors in the verification of reference standards
  • Apply required atmospheric conditions for the verification of reference standards
  • Assess environmental conditions to determine whether verification can be conducted

Assessment Tasks

Write these in plain English and spell out how, when and where the task is to be carried out, under what conditions, and what resources are needed. Include guidelines about how well the candidate has to perform a task for it to be judged satisfactory.

When you have finished writing your assessment tool every one of these must have been addressed, preferably several times in a variety of contexts.
